Letter #35 & #36: 11.9.13

Dear Mommy,

So this will be a short letter.  I’m sending these jackets back cause I don’t need them right now.  I have a lot of other jackets that I am using but I don’t want to leave them in mhy aprtment for some other sister.  So I’m just going to send it home.  Mommy you may use them when you go to visit Jarom and Omni them.  They are very good jackets so I want to keep them.

Okay, so today we had a surprize zone meeting...a lot of new rules.  So now I am going to be sending you some of my teaching objects cause now we cannot use them.  But I still want them so keep them safe.  I used them for half of my mission.  Do not let the kids play with it.  Thank you so much love you all so much.  I love you.

Love Sister Casey

Letter#36

Aloha ,

Okay so my teaching things keep them safe until I come home...then I can show you all it for like family FHE.  Please don’t let the kids play with it.  I worked hard on them.  Thank you.  The Geometry book is from a boy that’s a recent convert in Silverdale 6th ward.  Him and I became very good friends and he loves old things and he gave me one of his old books and signed it.  The flowers were from Daisy Tangaro.  It had 4 but I gave 2 away to 2 elders going home.
Well so last night was my last Sunday in Silverdale.  The Hew-Lens ohana gave me leis.  I felt so loved from this ward.  They all keep on saying you are a part of this ward you been here for 6 months.  I made a lot of them cry when our Bishop surprized us with me going up to bear my testimony.  I was so shocked but I should have known he was going to do that.  I just love this ward so much.  I can’t wait until I can bring you back to visit all of my wards I served in.  I just can’t tell you how much I love this ward.  I just have so many families here.  This is my ZION!
So ya, by the time you get this box you should know I am transfering back down to Tacoma...well right next to Tacoma, Lakewood Parkland and my comp will be sister Smith.  Funny story my comp now, sister Stokes trained Sister Smith.  So I know a lot about her.  Well Lakewood is the GHETTO.  So humble people.... yes...I’m just making a good impression on me to have the right mind set so I can leave my ZION Silverdale 6th:(  and guess what my apartment was?  An elders apartment just until 3 transfers ago.  So it is not very nice like this apartment that I’m in right now.  Well when I first came here I did have to clean big time.  So far every white glove inspection I got 100% whatever apartment I’ve been in.  And funny, here in Silverdale, this is the first time it ever passed!  I do good :) Man!  I am not going to be serving with elders in the same ward any more.  I know I am going to miss it a lot.  The work is so much better with sisters and elders in one ward.  So ya, now it looks like I will be there in Parkland for Thanksgiving and most likely Christmas too.  So this transfer is only 5 weeks and next transfer will be 7 weeks.  So the missionaries that are going home will be home for Christmas.  But after it will be back at 6 weeks a transfer.  So I finish packing today well most of it yesterday cause I knew I was getting transferred.  So I started packing of Friday.  I did all of my books.  Man I have a lot of stuff...LOL :)
Funny story, sister Weaver did not want me to stay here last transfer...but It’s not her it’s pres. and I talked to him so I stayed.  Then last interviews she told me that I’m gone.  I told her I know.  So I just knew I was gone.  Cause 6 months is a long time.  But I set up 6 baptisms in December.  I taught them all.  So I know I’m leaving my ZION better then when I got it.  And it’s in good hands with sister Stokes and Elder Rich.  Oh ya, both of us have one leaving and a new one coming in.  So Elder Siebars is going to Bermerton.
