Letters #13 and 14: 3.18.13

Aloha Family,

I love you all and miss you so much. Tell the kids I love them all. So we went again to see the Oleolen's but no one came to the door. So I called them. His wife was on the phone with me and I was talking to her and seeing how I would know them. Brother Oleole is in the hospital with pneumonia. So we are going to check on him again. I was able to talk to his wife about the gospel. SO that was good :).

So on Tuesday I had Korean food. It was so good. We had a family home evening with them. Yesterday, Wednesday, we had dinner with a ward member family, the Covey's. They feed us every week. And Brother Covey gave me a can of Spam and Vienna Sausage to make me feel like at home. I love that family. Next month they will be going to temple for the first time. They love the sister missionaries cause we help them in life, but their daughter is not a member so we are working on her, but she is so stubborn.

My mission is going by so fast. I'm almost up with my second transfer. I got your letter Mommy. It was sent to my apartment but I think to keep on sending the boxes to the office. Just keep on looking for the book of mormon manual-the newest one up to date. I love you so much <3. Guess what, we ran the Narrows bridge again. So I have been sore. I'm loving my mission so much. Today (3.17.13) we should be having 4 investigators and one less active and her family coming to church. I'm so happy. I've been at work and doing my hardest. I want at the end of my mission to know that I did all that the lord wants me to do and be done with on my mission.

Oh when we run the bridge we go with most of the missionaries in the zone. It's a lot of fun but that means I wake-up at 5:30 am to go running. So every morning we go running the Narrows bridge or go to the Y fitness. So I got the SD card and that's okay, I can deltet them on my side. Just upload them and then send it back. I will be sending the next SD card. It has the video of us dancing hula. So today for p-day, we all as a district went to the beach. It is so pretty here in Tacoma.

With much love and aloha,
Sister Casey

So yeah, we went to the beach for p-day...It was so much fun. Over here is so pretty. I love my zone so much. We are one big family. My comp goes home this next transfer. So far I'm doing my March Madness. March Madness is an assignment from President and Sister Weaver to do every week. If we want, it's from Preach My Gospel and if you do it, all the assignments far the month of March, President will do or have something fun for us.

How is everyone doing? How is everyone feeling? I know they were all sick. Thank you for everythign you do for me in my life. Every little thing got me here in the WA-TAC mission and I would like to thank everyone <3. Tell all the kids I miss them so much. Mommy and Papa, you must miss the kids...ha. The funny thing about being a missionary in the WA-TAC is I know every kind of smell of smoke from just walking by apartments or homes. Mostly the apartemtns cause everyone we have is ghetto...LOL. But I love my mission so much. I'm going to have a lesson with this lady we met finding (5-7). Well, I'll tell you more about her and what happends and how the lessons go in the next letter. I love you and miss you so much.

"And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it."
~Mosiah 2:41 (It's a new fave of mine)

Always with much love and aloha,
Sister Casey
